It's series they have been running for a while now, a sort of main stream comp of dubstep, drum and bass, garage, house and that sort of thing. Obviously it is great to be asked by such a large company to pitch for this kind of project. Shows I'm moving forward and have some degree of main stream recognition (after all that's where the big budgets are!.. "Sell out"... Yeah I know. ). It is very hard when pitching for this kind of work, trying to put your own stamp on a brand whilst trying to cater for their market and established brand history. Do you go all out and do some cutting edge design or do you keep it mainstream and simple? All you can do is try your best, do something you are happy with and fulfil the brief as supplied. The fate of this design, as always with large commercial projects, is in the hands of a marketing team. I was happy with my submissions and now its in the hands of the design god's.
