I run a company named Type One Creative This is a design agency with a growing number of local and national clients. The company is undergoing rebrand and new website due online this April.
As well as this I also run Devolution Designs the sister arm of Type One Creative. This is a company set up specifically to cater for the music industry.

I am currently looking for a middleweight freelance designer to help across both companies.
This is a unique opportunity for the right person.


You must be able to initially work from home, have good access to the internet, communicate on projects via Skype.

Initially you will be bought on a project to project basis. With a view to the possibility of coming on board full time in the future.

Ideally you would have already had a couple of years professional design experience and a good knowledge of the relevant music industry and corporate market sectors.

Each project's fee will be agreed upfront and then paid at the end of the month.

You must be able to turn work around quickly, have a 'can do attitude', be dedicated to your career, manage your own work flow, put up with a demanding creative director and even more demanding clients, and not be worried about working the occasional long day when required.

It is not uncommon to have to juggle deadlines and projects, so the ability to be able to switch between projects is a must.

Above all a very solid, varied portfolio ,a genuine passion for design and a desire to further your career are essential.

You will need to have experience and be able to show a portfolio representing work in the following areas:

• A good level of graphic design and typography
• Basic Flash (For web banners, web content etc)
• At least basic Web design with a knowledge of CSS
• Logo design
• Page layout / typography
• Print artwork and print set up
• Creative artwork skills

Clients range from record labels to local businesses.

Projects include flyer and advertising design, logo and branding, flash web banners, mail-shot emails, corporate branding, general graphic design, flash web banner design, web design.

You must be more than proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
(InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver,)
3D or animation skills are a bonus.
